L&#039;\u00e9quipe a \u00e9t\u00e9 fond\u00e9e par le fabricant fran\u00e7ais de v\u00e9los et la marque de cigarettes Gitane* et avait le fabricant de composants italien Campagnolo comme sponsor principal.<br \/>\nLa marque fran\u00e7aise Gitane fait partie de ces noms qui \u00e9taient une valeur fixe dans le peloton cycliste dans la 2\u00e8me moiti\u00e9 du si\u00e8cle dernier. Des grands noms du cyclisme tels que Jean Stablinski, Rudi Altig, Jacques Anquetil, Bernard Hinault, Lucien van Impe, Laurent Fignon et Greg Lemond y ont particip\u00e9. Gitane a remport\u00e9 le Tour de France pas moins de 11 fois.<\/p>\n<p>En 1975 et 1976, le maillot cycliste Gitane-Campagnolo a \u00e9t\u00e9 port\u00e9 par Bernard Hinault, Gerben Karstens, Willy Teirlinck et bien s\u00fbr Lucien Van Impe (classement montagne Tour de France 1975 et classement final Tour de France 1976).<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><em>* Gitane est \u00e0 la fois une marque de cigarettes et une marque de v\u00e9los. La marque Gitane a \u00e9t\u00e9 fond\u00e9e en France en 1925 en tant que fabricant de v\u00e9los. Plus tard, dans les ann\u00e9es 1960, la marque a \u00e9galement commenc\u00e9 \u00e0 produire des cigarettes.
